Gamad
GAMAD (MEN OF) gā’ măd (גַּ֨מָּדִ֔ים , possibly valorous men, LXX φυ̂λακες, guards, sentinels). KJV GAMMADIMS găm’e dĭmz. Men of Gamad are said to be in Tyre’s towers (Ezek 27:11). LXX and ASV tr. the term; KJV and RSV take it as a proper name. Cf. Kumidi in Amarna letters.
