Ezora

EZORA ĕ zôr’ ə (Εζωρα; meaning uncertain). In the textual tradition of the story of Ezra preserved in 1 Esdras, Ezora was the father or clan leader of several men who participated in the mass divorce encouraged by Ezra (1 Esd 9:34). Cf. Machnadebai, Ezra 10:40.
