Ethnan

ETHNAN (ēth'năn). A son of Helah, wife of Ashhur, a Judahite (1Chr.4.7).



ETHNAN ĕth’ nən (אֶתְנָֽן, hire, gift). One of the sons of Helah from the tribe of Judah (1 Chron 4:7). Some connect the name with Ithnan (q.v.) a town in southern Judah (Josh 15:23).
