Enoch (city)

ENOCH (city) ē nək (חֲנֹ֑וכְ, ̓Ενώχ). Nothing is known about this city outside of that mentioned in Genesis 4:17. This city was built by Cain in honor of the name of his son Enoch. Enoch also occurs in the Bible as the name of one of Seth’s descendants.
