EMADABUN ĭ mäd’ ə bən (̓Ημαδαβούν, KJV MADIABUN, me dī’ e bŭn). Head of line of Levites who helped rebuild the Temple under Jeshua and Zerubbabel (1 Esd 5:58; omitted in Ezra 3:9). RSV indicates Emadabun is surname to adjacent Jeshua which KJV, with some Gr. texts, omit.
