City of Moab

CITY OF MOAB (עִ֣יר מוֹאָ֗ב, Num 22:36). The location near the River Arnon where Balaam visited Balak. May be identified with the Moabite city of Ar (cf. Num 21:15, 28; Isa 15:1).
