Carshena
CARSHENA (kar’shē-na). One of the seven princes of the Medo-Persian kingdom in the days of the great Xerxes, husband of Vashti, and later of Esther (Esth.1.14).
CARSHENA kär she’ nə (כַּרְשְׁנָ֤א, meaning uncertain). Nothing is known about this man except that found in Esther 1:14. He is mentioned as one of the seven princes of Persia and Media in the time of Ahasuerus.
