Bougaean
BOUGAEAN bōō ge’ ən (Βουγαι̂ος). An epithet given to Haman in Additions to Esther 12:6 (ASV BUGEAN; KJV AGAGITE). It is uncertain whether the word is used in the Homeric sense of “bully” or “braggart” (Iliad XIII. 824; Odyssey XVIII. 79) or whether it is a corruption of an original αγαγαι̂ος, “Agagite.”
