BETH HAKKEREM (bĕth' hă-kē'rĕm, house of the vineyard). A Judean town (Neh.3.14), ruled by Malkijah. Jeremiah notes it as a vantage site for signaling in time of danger (Jer.6.1). It is now identified with a place on top of Jebel Ali called ‘Ain Karim. The cairns on top of this hill are thought to have been used for beacons.
