BERA (bē'ra, Heb. bera‘, gift). King of Sodom, defeated by Kedorlaomer in the days of Abraham at the battle of Siddim (Gen.14.2, Gen.14.8).


BERA (בֶּ֨רַע, LXX Βάλλα, the king of Sodom in Genesis 14:2; cf. vv. 8, 10-11, 17, 22). He and his allies were defeated after rebelling against Chedorlaomer of Mesopotamia.
