Belmain

BELMAIN bĕl’ mān (Βελμαίν [Judg 4:4]), prob. identical with Belmaim (Βελμαίμ [Judg 7:3]), a town in the vicinity of Dothan, near which Holofernes encamped his army. It has been conjecturally identified with Ibleam (q.v.), about 5 m. NE of Dothan.
