ANASIB ăn’ ə sĭb (Σαναβείς (B); Ανασείβ (A); KJV SANASIB). Ancestor of a priestly family which returned from the Exile with Zerubbabel (1 Esd 5:24 RSV, SANASIB, KJV). The name is not found in the parallels, Ezra 2:36 and Nehemiah 7:39. The Vul. has Eliasib.
