Anaphora

(Gr. = “offering”). The central prayer in the Eucharist, containing the Consecration, the Anamnesis, and the Communion. The traditional order is Sursum Corda, Sanctus, Memorial of the Incarnation, Words of Institution, Epiclesis, and sometimes an Intercession.
