ALVAH, ALIAH ăl’ və, ăl’ ĭ ə (עַֽלְוָ֖ה, עַלְיָ֧ן). A chief of Edom (Gen 36:40), called ALIAH in 1 Chronicles 1:51. May be the same as Alvan or Alian (Gen 36:23; 1 Chron 1:40).
