AL-TASHHETH ăl tăsh’ həth (AL-TASCHITH, KJV). Words found in the titles of Psalms 57-59, 75, meaning “destroy not.” They may form the beginning of an old song, normally sung at the harvesting of grapes, as described in Isaiah 65:8.
