AKIM (ā'kĭm, Gr. Achim, from Heb., meaning Jehovah will establish). A descendant of Zerubbabel (Matt.1.14). One of the ancestors of Christ, after the Babylonian captivity.



ACHIM ā’ kĭm (̓Αχίμ, G943, shortened form of Jehoiakim? Jehovah will establish?). Ancestor of Jesus and descendant of Zerubbabel (Matt 1:14).
