Ain Karim
AIN KARIM ān kă’ rĭm. A village c. 3 1/2 m. W of Jerusalem where Elizabeth and Zacharias, the parents of John the Baptist, traditionally lived (Luke 1:24, 39). Mary the mother of Jesus went there to visit her kinswoman.
