Ahohi

AHOHI ə hō’ hī (אֲחֹחִ֑י). 2 Samuel 23:9 RSV has “son of Ahohi”; ASV has “son of an Ahohite,” and KJV has “the Ahohite.” The parallel passage (1 Chron 11:12) has “the Ahohite” in all three VSS. It is likely that the KJV rendering in 2 Samuel 23:9 is to be preferred, although the RSV renders the MT.
