AGIA ā’ gĭ ə (̓Αγιά). 1. Wife of Jaddus (KJV Addus), whose descendants returned from exile (1 Esd 5:38; KJV, ASV have AUGIA).

2. Temple servants who returned from exile (1 Esd 5:34 ASV). RSV has HATTIL. Ezra 2:57 and Nehemiah 7:59 have HATTIL.

(Agia; the King James Version Hagia) = Hattil (Ezr 2:57; Ne 7:59): The descendants of Abraham (sons of the servants of Solomon) returned with Zerubbabel to Jerusalem (1 Esdras 5:34).
