Acshaph
ACSHAPH (ak’shăf, Heb. ’akhshāph). A city (Josh.11.1) that Joshua captured with its king (Josh.12.7, Josh.12.20). It is on the border of the lot assigned to Asher (Josh.19.24-Josh.19.25). Acshaph is now tentatively identified with Tell Keisan, a few miles SE of Acco (Acre; Ptolemais), NE of Mount Carmel.
