Acraba
ACRABA ăk’ rə bə (̓Εγρεβήλ, KJV Ekrebel). A place where part of the army of Holofernes encamped when besieging the Israelites at Bethulia (Judg 7:18). Akrabeh, twenty-five m. N of Jerusalem, has been suggested. In NT times the area between Samaria and Shiloh was called the Toparchy of Acrabata.
