Abida
ABIDA (a-bī'da, Heb. ’ăvîdhā‘, the father knows). This appears as Abidah in KJV of Gen.25.4. A son of Midian and grandson of Abraham and Keturah (Gen.25.4; 1Chr.1.33).
ABIDA ə bī’ də (אֲבִידָ֖ע, father of knowledge, or the [my] father knows; Abidah in KJV [Gen 25:4]). The fourth of the five sons of Midian who was the fourth son of Abraham by his concubine Keturah (Gen 25:4; 1 Chron 1:33). Abraham gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them to the E while he was still living so that Isaac’s inheritance would not be compromised.
