History of the English Bible
About This Class
The first efforts to translate the Bible into English in the 1300's were met with persecution from church officials. By the 1500's, the King James Bible was completed and was supported by the king of England. People continue to work on translation projects today. Take a journey with Dan Wallace as he recounts the historical events and explains the differences in translation philosophies that have produced the translations we have today.
