Impact

BiblicalTraining addresses the lack of biblical literacy in the church and especially among its leadership by creating and distributing high quality Bible study classes without charge. Our 167 classes (1,630 hours) are broadly evangelical, taught by 84 professors, pastors, and mission leaders  from 17 seminaries and other ministries, and cover biblical content and theology at all academic levels. We have over 300,000 registered users from every country in the world, and are donor supported.

In 25 years, we have grown to over 800,000 user accounts, 140,000 opt-in emails for newsletters, 2,700+ hours of instruction (180 classes and seminars), 350,000 unique users per month, and 3.6 million page views per year. The BiblicalTraining Library contains over 17,000 articles on biblical content.

Who We Serve

Intellectual Ian — an individual who is committed to taking a deep dive on a course or topic as part of his individual learning and discipleship goals.  He doesn't shy away from the idea of "studying" and has been looking for something deeper than what else is out there. He is doing this on his own, and not as part of a formal curriculum but would love to have other friends/church people do it with him.

Group Leader Greg — a churchgoer that already has or is interested in having a volunteer leadership position but doesn’t feel like he knows enough about the Bible to be able to hold that position. He's willing to commit to a course of study because he takes the leadership role seriously and sees this as a requirement of someone in his position.

Pastoral Intern Paul— a person who wants to move into pastoral leadership but doesn’t want to leave his ministry and not go into serious debt. Wants to be trained in community by ministry leaders he trusts.
