Shiphrah
SHIPHRAH (shĭf'ra, Heb. shiphrâh, beauty). One of the Hebrew midwives who risked their lives to save the Hebrew boy babies (Exod.1.15-Exod.1.21).
SHIPHRAH shĭf’ rə (שִׁפְרָ֔ה). One of the two Heb. midwives who were ordered by the king of Egypt to kill all male children (Exod 1:15).
