JOSHAPHAT (jŏsh'a-făt, Heb. yôshāphāt, Jehovah had judged)
One of David’s mighty men (1Chr.11.43).A priest and trumpeter in David’s time (1Chr.15.24; kjv Jehoshaphat).
JOSHAPHAT jŏsh’ ə făt (יוֹשָׁפָ֖ט, Yahweh has judged). 1. A Mithnite who was one of David’s Mighty Men known as the “Thirty” (1 Chron 11:43).
2. One of the priests entrusted with the responsibility of blowing the trumpet before the ark of God (1 Chron 15:24).
