HADASSAH (ha-dăs'a, a myrtle). Daughter of Abihail, who became Esther, queen of Xerxes, KJV, Ahasuerus (Esth.2.7, Esth.2.15).
HADASSAH hə dăs’ ə (הֲדַסָּ֗ה, myrtle). The original Heb. name of Esther (Esth 2:7).
