FIREBRAND. The kjv rendering of three Hebrew words, meaning: a stick for stirring fire (Isa.7.4; Amos.4.11); brands, sparks (Prov.26.18); and a torch, as in Judg.7.16 (see marginal note) and Judg.15.4.
