El Bethel
EL BETHEL (Heb. ’ēl bêth-’ēl, the God of the house of God). The name Jacob gave to Luz because there God revealed himself to him (Gen.35.7).
EL-BETH-EL, EL-BETHEL ĕl bĕth’ əl (אֵ֖ל בֵּֽית־אֵ֑ל, “the god Bethel,” or “the god of Bethel”), the name of the altar erected by Jacob at Bethel after his return from Paddam-aram (Gen 35:7).

By this name Jacob called the scene of his vision at Luz, when he returned from Paddan-aram (Ge 35:7).
