DOEdō (יַעֲלָה, H3607, [f] Prov 5:19 only; Roe KJV; Doe ASV, RSV). Although this word may be correctly used in RSV, in that ya’alāh is prob. a female antelope or deer, it is in fact an inexact word meaning the female of fallow deer, hare or rabbit. It therefore needs qualification. SeeDeer.
