Blaze
BLAZE (חָרָה, H3013, burn). This word is not as common in recent trs. of the Bible as the words “burn” or ’burning.” It has been used in a few older trs., such as Moffatt’s (Exod 22:24; 32:11; Num 21; 28, etc.). At least seventeen Heb. and Gr. words in the Bible can be tr. as “blaze,” “burn,” or “be on fire.”
