Black Mass

A blasphemous, obscene parody of the Roman Catholic Mass based on the belief that the worship of Satan is a complete reversal of the worship of God. It is addressed to hell and the devil. The cross is suspended upside down, and the Lord's Prayer recited backward. It is often celebrated by a renegade priest, using a woman's naked back as an altar and using his left instead of his right hand.
