ARNI är’ nī (̓Αρςί). An ancestor of Jesus in Luke 3:33 (ASV, RSV; KJV ARAM); called RAM in Matthew 1:3 (ASV, RSV; KJV ARAM). Ram was a great-grandson of Judah and ancestor of David (Ruth 4:19; 1 Chron 2:9, 10).
