Abinoam

ABINOAM (a-bĭn'ō-ăm, Heb. ’ăvînōam, the father is pleasantness). The father of Barak (Judg.4.6; Judg.5.12).



ABINOAM ə bĭn’ ō əm (אֲבִינֹ֔עַם, the father of pleasantness or my [the] father is pleasantness). A man of Kedesh in Naphtali, the father of Barak, mentioned in both the narrative of Barak’s victory over the Canaanites under Jabin and Sisera, and in the song of Deborah and Barak (Judg 4:6, 12; 5:1, 12).

a-bin’-o-am, ab-i-no’-am (’abhino`am, "father of pleasantness," or, "my father is pleasantness"): A man of Kedesh-naphtali, the father of Barak who defeated the army of Jabin and Sisera (Jud 4:6,12; 5:1,12).
