Interdenominational Foreign Mission Association
Composed of interdenominational faith missionary societies, this was founded in 1917 by seven societies to provide spiritual fellowship and cooperation. The organization has a conservative creedal statement, provides member societies with relevant information through IFMA News, helps churches to set up missionary programs, and promotes cooperation among evangelical missionaries who rely mainly on prayer and faith in money-raising. This organization in 1969 embraced forty-four societies sending out nearly 6,000 missionaries with an income of nearly $33 million.
