Dr. Kenneth J. Collins is a professor of Historical Theology and Wesley Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, where he was awarded the 2008 Professor of the Year Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. He has lectured and taught throughout the world on topics such as John Wesley's theology, Christian spirituality, etc., including courses in Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary (Russia) and other countries like Costa Rica, South Korea, England, Australia, Finland, and Japan. Dr. Collins is past President of the Wesleyan Theological Society; member of American Academy of Religion; Oxford Institute; The Wesleyan Theological Society, The Wesley Historical Society, The Historical Society of the Unite Methodist Church; Editorial Board: Australasian Centre for Wesleyan Research, the Board of Directors, the Institute on Religion and Democracy (Washington, D.C.), and the Editorial Board of Methodist Review: A Journal of Wesleyan and Methodist Studies. He also serves as Director for Wesleyan Studies Summer Seminars which foster research scholarship & publication globally. His works include books and articles exploring various topics from Wesleyan theology to Christianity.
