Is there a disconnect between what you say at church and what you do in the world? In order to lead people beyond your title, you must earn their trust by making your life and words line up. Are you shepherding your people? Do you prioritize time with God? Your calling is on a journey, not a destination. Bearing fruit requires time and effort, not from trying to cut the process short by copying someone else. Don’t try to make people happy, make them disciples. Pray that God will nurture in you an inward passion that transcends outward appearance.
Carl Cartee has written and recorded thirteen albums over the last 18 years and performed with artists Third Day, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman but is most grateful to lead and serve on the staff of Fellowship Bible Church in Nashville, TN as Director of Worship Development and to found the Inspire Worship Conference, an annual event that trains and equips church worship leaders.
Listen to Carl Cartee give you some encouraging and practical ways to embrace your identity in Christ and live it out each day. This lecture is directed to worship leaders but it applies to all of us
