New Class: Historical Reliability of the Gospels, taught by Dr. Craig Blomberg

Watch Bill Introduce this Class on YouTube. is pleased to announce the release of a new class, The Historical Reliability of the Gospels, taught by Dr. Craig Blomberg, available in video and audio format. In this Institute-level class, Dr. Blomberg begins with an introduction to the common myths that challenge the historicity of the gospel message, some of which have no connection to any historical evidence. Dr. Craig also discusses recently discovered “evidence” and how it is often distorted (Dead Sea Scrolls and Gnostic literature). Over the course of 30 lectures, Dr. Blomberg will discuss the formation of the Canon, the text of the New Testament, translations of the Bible, questions about authorship and dating, oral traditions, archaeology, the quests of the historical Jesus and much more. Dr. Blomberg will provide you with the information you need to be confident that the Gospels are a trustworthy account of the life of Jesus, who lived on earth as God in human form.
