WAHEB wā’ hĕb (וָהֵ֣ב). A place, prob. near the Arnon in Moab, mentioned in the fragment from the Book of the Wars of the Lord (Num 21:14). The RSV has “Waheb in Suphah,” which are both unknown; while the KJV renders: “What he did in the Red sea.” It is likely that the fragment was originally governed by the verb “we took” or “we went,” as Waheb is the object of a verb.
