Sheminith
SHEMINITH (shĕm'ĭ-nĭth, eighth, i.e., the octave, and meaning the lower octave). A musical term. The harps tuned to the “sheminith” were to be used with men’s voices (1Chr.15.21, titles for Ps.6.1-Ps.6.10 and Ps.12.1-Ps.12.8).
