VINEYARDS, PLAIN OF THE (אָבֵ֣ל כְּרָמִ֔ים, meadow of vineyards). The KJV tr. in Judges 11:33 (ASV ABEL-CHERAMIM; RSV ABEL-KERAMIM). A place E of the Jordan to which Jephthah pursued the Ammonites in his campaign against them.
