Pelonite

PELONITE (pĕl'ō-nīt, Heb. pelônî, separates). The title of two of David’s mighty men, Helez and Ahijah (1Chr.11.27, 1Chr.11.36). It is thought that this designation originated from their place of birth because of the reference in 1Chr.27.10 that Helez was from Ephraim’s tribe.
