PARAMOUR (păr'a-mūr, Heb. pileghesh, a concubine). KJV (Ezek.23.20, niv lovers; elsewhere [36 times] kjv, niv concubine) for a Hebrew term that only here means “male lover.”



PARAMOUR par’ ə moor (פִּלֶ֫גֶשׁ, H7108, a concubine, masc. or fem.) In Ezekiel 23:20 this word refers to a male lover, but elsewhere (Gen 22:24; Judg 8:31; etc.) it is rendered Concubine.
