Nogah

NOGAH (nō'ga, Heb. nōghah, brilliance). A son of David born in Jerusalem (1Chr.3.7; 1Chr.14.6).



NOGAH nō’ gə (נֹ֥גַהּ, splendor). One of David’s sons, born at Jerusalem (1 Chron 3:7; 14:6). In the parallel list, 2 Samuel 5:14, 15, this name is missing.

International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (1915)

A son of David born at Jerusalem (1Ch 3:7; 14:6). In the parallel list (2Sa 5:14,15) this name is wanting. In its Greek form (Naggai) it occurs in the genealogy of Jesus (Lu 3:25).
