JORAH (jō'ra, Heb. yôrâh, meaning uncertain). A family who returned with Zerubbabel (Ezra.2.18). It is called Hariph in Neh.7.24.



JORAH jôr’ ə (יוֹרָ֔ה). The head of a family of which 112 members returned from exile with Zerubbabel (Ezra 2:18; 1 Esd 5:16, KJV Azephurith, ASV Arisphurith); called Hariph (Neh 7:24).
