Japhletites

JAPHLETITES, JAPHLETI (jăf'le'tīts, jăf'lē-tī). An ancient clan whose land was the western border of Joseph’s heritage (Josh.16.1-Josh.16.3).

JAPHLETITES jăf’ lə tīts (יַפְלֵטִ֗י, KJV JAPHLETI, jăf’ le tī). A tribe, not identified, that lived in the territory allotted to the descendants of Joseph in Canaan. It was located on the border of Ephraim, near Beth-horon (Josh 16:3).
