Jakim
JAKIM (jā'kĭm, Heb. yâkîm, God lifts)
A son of Elpaal, a Benjamite (1Chr.8.12, 1Chr.8.19).The head of the twelfth course of priests (1Chr.24.12).
JAKIM jā’ kĭm (יָקִ֥ים, may God establish). 1. A Benjamite; son of Shimei (1 Chron 8:19).
2. A priest; head of the twelfth of the twenty-four courses into which the priests were divided in the time of David (1 Chron 24:12).
