Jaaziah
JAAZIAH (jā'az-ī'a, Heb. ya‘ăzīyāhŭ, Jehovah strengthens). A descendant of Levi; and a temple musician in David’s time (1Chr.24.26-1Chr.24.27).
JAAZIAH jā’ eə zī’ ə (יַעֲזִיָּ֥הֽוּ, strengthens). A Levite, son of Merari (1 Chron 24:26, 27).

In 1Ch 24:26,27, a Levite, "son" of Merari. But the Massoretic Text is corrupt. The Septuagint’s Codex Vaticanus reads (Ozeid), which some take to suggest Uzziah (compare 27:25); see Curtis, Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Books of Chronicles, 274-75; See Kittel, at the place.
