Ismakiah

ISMAKIAH (ĭs'ma-kī'a, Heb. yismakhyâhû, Jehovah sustains). An overseer connected with the temple in the reign of Hezekiah (2Chr.31.13).


ISMACHIAH ĭz’ mə kī’ ə (יִסְמַכְיָ֔הוּ, God will sustain). A Levite appointed by King Hezekiah and Azariah the ruler of the house of God (2 Chron 31:13).
