Ishvi
ISHVI (ĭsh'vī, Heb. yishwi, level)
The third son of Asher, and founder of a tribal family (Gen.46.17, kjv “Isui”; Num.26.44, kjv “Jesui”; 1Chr.7.30, kjv “Ishuai”).A son of Saul (1Sam.14.49; kjv Ishui).
ISHVI ĭsh’ vī (יִשְׁוִ֥י, equal). 1. The third son of Asher (Gen 46:17; KJV Isui; Num 26:44; KJV Jesui; 1 Chron 7:30; KJV Ishuai); patronymic ISHVITES (Num 26:44; KJV Jesuites).
2. A son of King Saul by Abinoam (1 Sam 14:49; KJV Ishui); called Eshbaal (1 Chron 8:33; 9:39) and Ishbosheth (2 Sam 2:10, etc.).

(1) The third son of Asher (Ge 46:17; 1Ch 7:30), and founder of the family of the Ishvites (Nu 26:44, the King James Version "Jesuites"), the King James Version "Isui," "Jesui," and "Ishui."
(2) The name is also found among the sons of Saul (1Sa 14:49), the King James Version "Ishui."
